Most of these photos are of sculptures I built in 1997 for Galaxy Golf in Nags Head, NC. As you can tell, they were influenced by the original Star Wars Sagas.
My biggest challenge was to engineer tall objects which would withstand high winds, it is after all near the location where the Wright Bros. first achieved motorized flight. They chose the spot specifically for its windy conditions. I do know Nags Head has been ground zero for at least 3 hurricanes since I installed the pieces. No one has called me in to repair anything- I guess no news is good news.
